Ive made a lot of progress and I feel as though that I am about half way done. all I need is a good background design.

We re going to create a business card, letter head, envelope and web page using the logo we’ve been working on.
the website, business card, envelope and letter are complete. and I am definitely satisfied with my work on my tiger face
we have to pic a picture of an animal that we feel resembles our personality as well as using appropriate colors, using the adobe illustrator application.
day 2 of the collage presentation… interesting.
we have to create a collage about any random topic, which shouldn’t be to hard and orchestrate pictures. basically creating a poster about with information.
who are you and what are you about? something very simple summarizing who you are and what your about. what ideas do you support or want to raise awareness on?
create a anti bullying ad. use real facts or create a factual or informal poster regarding bullying that lets people know the damage of bullying.
find a statistic or factual peace of information and talk about it. present it with the purpose to inform others about.
heres my notes from the first day of class…
we talked about photoshop pixels vs illistrator vectors, about how pixels aew resolution-dependent, and how vectors are resolution independent.
color space: involve RGB and CMYK
RGB: additives; add light>white
CMYK; subtract ink>white paper.
ink on paper cyan, magenta yellow black.
file format: psd format can do anything-can only be wokred on in adobe programs.
tif format: keeps most of photoshops abilities, other programs can edit
jpg: loss format, doesnt maintain layers.
png: like jpeg but transparency
gif: solid colors, max 256 colors
